Verse 4, 5 & 6 Chapter 1 Gita for Layman (Yatra Tatra Sarvatra)

दुर्योधन is telling about the main warriors of Pandava Army to आचार्य द्रोण :-
“Here in this army there are heroes wielding mighty bows and equal in military prowess to भीम and अर्जुन, such as सात्यकि and विराट and the Maharathi द्रुपद. धृष्टकेतु, चेकितान and the valiant काशिराज and पुरुजित, कुन्तिभोज and mighty man शैव्य; And ferocious युधामन्यु and valorous उत्तमौजा, अभिमन्यु - the son of सुभद्रा and the five sons of द्रौपदी. All of them are Maharathis.”
सात्यकि, was son of सात्यक and grandson of शिनि. On the 12th day of महाभारत war सात्यकि defeated Kaurav warrior महारथी कर्ण badly. On the 15th day of महाभारत war, सात्यकि defeated many Kaurava warriors including द्रोणाचार्य, कृपाचार्य and कर्ण. द्रुपद was the king of पांचाल kingdom . On the 15th day of महाभारत war he was killed by द्रोणाचार्य. धृष्टकेतु was son of शिशुपाल and he was the king of चेदि kingdom. धृष्टकेतु was killed in the battle field by द्रोणाचार्य. चेकितान was son of King धृष्टकेतु. On the last day of महाभारत war दुर्योधन killed चेकितान.
काशिराज had three very pretty daughters - अम्बा, अम्बिका और अम्बालिका. भीष्म abducted these three girls forcefully. अम्बिका and अम्बालिका accepted to marry विचित्रवीर्य but अम्बा refused. Amba was reborn in the palace of King द्रुपद as a girl named शिखंडी. With her hard meditation she succeeded and she was converted into a strong man.
पुरुजित was son of King कुन्तिभोज and brother of कुंती . On the 14th day of महाभारत war पुरुजित was killed by mighty द्रोणाचार्य. कुन्तिभोज was the King of कुंती Kingdom.
शैव्य was the king of शिवि kingdom. His daughter देविका was married to King युधिष्ठिर. युधामन्यु was the son of King द्रुपद. उत्तमौजा was also the son of the King of पांचाल kingdom द्रुपद.
अभिमन्यु was son of अर्जुन and सुभद्रा. सुभद्रा was sister of बलराम and कृष्ण. He was nephew of श्रीकृष्ण and very dear to him. It is believed that he was actually son of चंद्र देवता. All the gods sent their sons on earth at the time of Mahabharata as Avatara but चंद्रदेव said that he cann’t live without his son. So kindly give his son only 16 years on earth.
अभिमन्यु was brought up in his mother’s parental home at द्वारका. He was married to उत्तरा, who was the daughter of King विराट. अभिमन्यु was an unparalleled warrior. He broke six out of seven gates of चक्रव्यूह formation of Kaurava army, which was considered as the most difficult military formation of the battle. It is said that अभिमन्यु learnt about solving the mystery of चक्रव्यूह even when he was in the womb of his mother Subhadra. Arjuna was narrating solution of Chakravyooha mystery to his wife while she was resting and stopped the story when she fell into deep sleep. So, Abhimanyu couldn’t hear the solution of breaking seventh gate of Chakravyooha. The main cause of अभिमन्यु’s death was जयद्रथ, who stopped all Pandavas to enter into the Chakravyooha. Probably finding him alone and without any support, Kaurava warriors surrounded him from all sides, attacked together and killed the brave boy, against the established principles of fare warfare. अभिमन्यु had a son named परीक्षित, who was born after the tragic demise of अभिमन्यु. He was the only living male of KURU clan. He promoted the Pandava dynasty after the termination of Mahabharata war.
द्रौपदी had five sons. अर्जुन fulfilled the condition to pin the eye of moving fish. He took Draupadi to her mother Kunti and called his mother Kunti from outside of the hut with intention to surprise her, “Mother, see what have I taken with me?” कुंती did not came out and without knowing the whole thing, advised Arjuna to distribute it equally among all brothers. AND thus द्रोपदी was married to five husbands. The Son of युधिष्ठिर was प्रतिविन्ध्य, son of भीमसेन was सुतसोम; son of अर्जुन was श्रुतकर्मा, son of नकुल was शतानीक and son of सहदेव was श्रुतसेन. When the war of महाभारत ended, अश्वत्थामा murdered all the five sons of Draupadi beheading them in the night, while they were into deep sleep.
